Sweet like "Tootsie Rolls" and as crazy as "Cracker Jacks"!

San Juan Capistrano train station
is by far one of my favorite places to take pictures...

So why not take one of my favorite families...
my sister and her family!

I may be biased but it is hard to deny
that this family loves each other.

What a Joy!

What a joy this family is.
It has been a year since I started taking
pictures of this beautiful family.
I can honestly say watching
them grow has been a delight.
Every session has been different but I have
learned something about myself
and the love this family shares.
I am expecting my own little joy soon
and this family makes me realize
how quickly it all flies by.
It has been wonderful capturing the
smiles, tears, and giggles
this family has experienced this year.

Thanks for the opportunity!

A Family on the move!

I love taking pictures of growing families! It is amazing how time
passes us by and we often blink and our children are
1, 5, even 16 years old. This family was truly captivating.
The love they had for each other was present in every image.

I had a hard time picking which picture to post...

I love them ALL!

Where did the time go?

It is quite often we look back on our lives and say "where did the time go?"

I was told that this family had few family photos taken together and was delighted
to be able to capture some of the moments that I am sure will last for a life time.

We often blink and our families have changed and grown right before our eyes.
Even though these kids are young...
I can just imagine what they will look like when they are 16 or 17.

What a fun afternoon... a little bit of laughter...
...a little bit of water... a little bit of smiles...
capturing the moments of this family was a delight!

Adoption

I had the privilege of taking some pictures of this wonderful couple and family.
They are just starting the adoption process and needed some
picture for their adoption paper work. I was so honored when they asked!

Adoption has touched many peoples lives, including my own. My father was adopted when he was two years old. I can’t imagine what my life would be like if people were not willing to adopt others children and make them their own. I am impressed by the people who are willing to give a life to another, knowing that this child’s life will forever be changed. It takes courage on both parties and I feel so bless to know that once again adoption is touching my life.

I am also reminded that as a child of God I am also adopted.

Ephesians 1:3-6
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing
in the heavenly places in Christ,

4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the
world, that we should
be holy and without blame before Him in love,
5 having predestined us to adoption

as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the
good pleasure of His will,

6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He
made us accepted in the Beloved.

I feel so blessed to be a small part of the Kreil’s adoption process and
pray that one of these pictures will touch the heart of a woman
willing to give them their baby. They are so deserving and such great parents.

Leila is one!

It has been a year since I was able to take pictures of this adorable little girl!
She was just as sweet then as she is now.
The best part is that I was able to take pictures of the whole family this time.
They were amazing! I can honestly say that Leila surprised me!
When we decided to take pictures on the beach, most children would be turned off by the sand, rocks, and crashing waves.
Not Leila! She loved every minute of it, and so did I!

Happy Birthday Leila!
